What is a Pre-Session Consultation?

All my sessions - no matter if it a Wedding, a Birth, a Family Session or a Beauty Shoot - include a Pre-Session Consultation. This is where we meet at your home, in a coffee shop (always my treat) or in my studio to go over all the details. I ask lots of questions, we go over timelines, styling, ideas, inspirations, what it is you are looking for in product (wall art, albums, etc.), tips & tricks and I get to know you better. This is where we customize your collections, I answer all your questions, we plan out the shot lists and go over ideas and expectations. I bring lots for you to look at and it gives me a chance to get to you know you better and for you to get to know me better. If you are looking to book me from out of town, no worries - we connect via the internet and chat that way!

When is payment due?

All Collections and Sessions require a non-refundable retainer at time of booking to save the date.

For Weddings & Births (Events) the retainer amount is at least 1/3 of the total investment. The remaining 2/3 will be split into 2 more payments between the day you sign your contract and 30 days our from your event.

For all Session the retainer amount is the $175 creative fee, due at time of booking.

Why do you not offer High Resolution Digital Files as part of all your Collections?

At our Pre-Session Consultation we will talk about what you are wanting to use your digital files for and we go over all the different options and packages. I take a lot of pride in the quality of what I offer and hand-pick the professional companies I work with to produce the beautiful pieces for you to enjoy for a long time. High Resolution Files with corresponding Written Printing Release are available for purchase a la carte, if they are not included in your Collection. All Events and Sessions come with a minimum number of Online Resolution Digital Images perfect for sharing online with family & friends.

When will the photographs be ready for viewing?

For Weddings & Births your Viewing Session will be scheduled 4-6 weeks after the Event. All other Sessions take between 2-3 weeks to process. However, while you wait, I will post sneak peeks to tide you over!

Do you travel for your work?

Yes! I grew up in Europe and have traveled to over 15 Countries & 30 States in the US - both for work and for fun. We are a nomadic-like, bi-cultural, bilingual family and I myself, as well as my four boys are TCKs (Third Culture Kid), so the love for travel is just part of life. Fly me anywhere - my passport is ready!

Do you offer film photography?

I do! I started with film and still shoot film photography when requested. This is not to be confused with video, however. I do not yet shoot video. When I say film photography, I mean the kind that you insert into your photography camera and then develop to see your photographs, etc.

Why should we invest in an album or wall art?

Today’s technology is amazing, but you never know what might happen to your digital files. Technology keeps changing and the way your files are saved might not even work anymore in 50 years or so. Do you remember floppy disks?! Albums and Wall Art are a wonderful way to hold onto your memories, being able to flip through your Story in a beautifully printed and handcrafted Album or a professionally mounted and finished piece of Wall Art, printed on archival quality paper - stunning heirlooms to pass on for generations!

Do you offer customized collections?

Yes. You know what you want and I am more than willing to work with you to get you exactly what you are looking for in your Events & Sessions and finished Products. Before you commit to anything, we go over all the details, options, and customize everything to fit your needs.
